I build the shoot around what your family actually enjoys.. snuggling in a golden field on a picnic rug.. the veggie patch that has somehow become a second job. Something that belongs to you, not a Pinterest shoot with your faces dropped into it.

This is payable at the time of booking to secure your session date.

THE THINGS YOU MAY BE THINKING BUT HAVEN'T ASKED YET
What if I hate being photographed?
Most women tell me this. You do not need to arrive confident or mysteriously aware of what to do with your hands.
I will direct you properly. I will not say “just be natural” and document the resulting distress. You do not need to be good at being photographed. I do.
What if I really care about how I look in photos?
Of course you do. These photographs may live in your home for decades. You are allowed to want to like yourself in them.
I pay attention to light, clothing, posture, movement, hair and the hundred small things that make an enormous difference. I will not turn you into somebody else. I also will not photograph you badly and call it honesty.
What if my kids are completely feral on the day?
They might be!
That is why we choose something your family genuinely enjoys doing together. I photograph the children you have. That is the point.
What if my partner hates photos?
There will be no frolicking, repeated fake laughter or prolonged staring into each other’s eyes. I give clear direction, keep things moving and avoid making grown adults visibly regret their life choices...!
Why does it cost more than some photographers?
Because this is not a volume service.
I photograph no more than twenty families a year. Each commission is built around one family and finished as a body of work.
If you are comparing photographers by the number of files, I am probably not the right choice.
If you want photographs that could only belong to your family, I might be.
Do you Travel?
Yes, I am commissioned throughout NSW and Australia for families and intimate weddings.

There is no need for perfect behaviour, practiced smiles, or stiff posing here.
Instead, my focus is on capturing genuine, unguarded moments, paired with a timeless edit —the result are photographs that will never date.
I am intentional in every part of the process: the details, the experience, and the creation of imagery that holds depth and feeling.

LOCATIONS
No two families are alike, and no two sessions are ever the same.
Together, we'll choose a setting that feels deeply personal—one that reflects your family's rhythm and tells your story with honesty and heart.
I believe nature inspired outdoor sessions are always stunning & available any time of day in a fitting location.
Golden field & Beach sessions typically take place at sunset throughout the year,
beginning approximately one hour before the sun disappears below the horizon.
In-home sessions are held during the day, typically in the soft light of mid-morning or the gentle glow of late afternoon.
OUTDOOR SESSIONS
Outdoor sessions can be held beachside, running through fields, exploring the rainforest,
swimming in the creek, hanging out on your family property or at an AirBnb ~ the
possibilities are endless. I have lots of locations that I can recommend for our session.
IN HOME SESSIONS
I have a deep love for in-home sessions. They are gentle, unhurried, and filled with the quiet beauty of everyday life. There is something profoundly meaningful about documenting a family within the walls that hold their memories, surrounded by the little details that make a house feel like home.
Imagine slow cuddles on the sofa, children chasing one another through the garden...These sessions are woven with story and sentiment—an honest reflection of this fleeting season. The photographs we create become more than images; they become a way back to these moments, allowing you to revisit the feeling of them long after your children have grown.
