Hi, I'm Sara

Motherhood changed everything for me.

Before becoming a photographer, I worked as an environmental lawyer. Then I became a mother to a brood of boys, and I came to understand just how fleeting every season really is.


The days can feel long, full of noise, mess and endless demands, yet the years seem to pass in an instant.


My work is a calling- it's my way of helping mothers to create lasting visual memories, to step into the frame and preserve the beauty and significance of a season that is gone before we realise it.

WHY I LOVE      WHAT I DO




I’ve always loved taking photographs. Documenting my moments, making a second last a lifetime through the click of a shutter.


But I was always the one behind the camera, never in front of it, and it wasn’t until I became a mother that I realised how important photographs could be. We often downplay our importance in our own story. We snap pictures of our children and loved ones laughing, playing, bonding with everyone but ourselves. Always the ones behind the camera, never in the frame.



I want to hold space for you, to create something that captures this season of your life so perfectly in all its authenticity. To capture photos that feel like you at their core.

About MOTHEROOD


I believe mothers deserve to be seen.


The love, strength, tenderness and devotion that mothers pour out every day deserve to be remembered. .


My sessions are relaxed, heartfelt and child-led. There is no pressure to perform or have it all together.


My role is to gently guide when needed and preserve the moments that unfold naturally.


Years from now, I want you to have photographs that bring you back to this season.


Images that remind your children how deeply they were loved and how completely they belonged in your arms.


It is an incredible privilege to be invited into these moments, and I would be honoured to tell your story.
